This pair of great blue herons had just begun courting in preparation for building the nest. I photographed them at Wachodahatchee Wetlands in Boynton Beach, FL.

Through my photography, I strive to capture the beauty of natural places and the spirit of wildlife and natural subjects. I hope to foster a deeper awareness and appreciation for the fragile natural environment that we must cherish and protect. I’ve backpacked thousands of miles to some of the most remote areas in the country in order to document the wildlife and natural beauty that still remains in our great country.
