This fuzzy little fellow came to meet me when I was hiking and taking pictures on the Appalachian Trail in Grayson Highlands State Park, Virginia.

Through my photography, I strive to capture the beauty of natural places and the spirit of wildlife and natural subjects. I hope to foster a deeper awareness and appreciation for the fragile natural environment that we must cherish and protect. I’ve backpacked thousands of miles to some of the most remote areas in the country in order to document the wildlife and natural beauty that still remains in our great country. During the recent years of extremely limited travel, I have continued to capture unique images right from home.
